X-Treme's XB-700Li Power Assisted Electric Bike / Bicycle has a 700 Watt Rear Hub Motor (Canada models get a 500 watt motor) similar to our XB-600 model but instead of lead acid batteries our (Li) Lithium line uses 26 Lightweight Lithium Batteries that have a battery life of up to 7 to 10 years! In addition this new model is capable of traveling extensively further than the XB-600 due to the use of Lightweight Lithium technology as opposed to the heavy weight lead acid batteries used in previous models. Smart charger, and tool kit included.
This is the worlds first ever moped style Lithium Powered E-bike. The pedals are included free but do not need to be installed. The XB-700Li is classified as a power assisted bicycle and is legal most everywhere with no license needed to ride. See Federal electric bicycle law on link below.
